Dorris referring to her breakfast this morning: "It's a slam dunk..it's a slam dunk."
She gets a confused look from Tonnie across the table.
Dorris: "It's a slam dunk."
Tonnie: "What's a slam dunk?"
Dorris: "Michael Jordan. Put the ball in the basket. Slam dunk."
Tonnie: "Huh."
She thought her breakfast looked like the Denny's grand slam. Grand slam. Slam dunk. I guess it works.
Last week, Katie and I floated the river from Barber Park to Ann Morrison Park. It was really fun. Besides the fact that the 102 degree weather disappeared five minutes into the float. Clouds covered the sky and the sun pretty much disappeared, leaving us cold and wet. The breeze didn't help either. We may go again this weekend if we get a little free time. I guess I won't be doing any chillin' 'til next break. I really wish my pictures would reappear. Oh well. Thanks for letting me vent.
You should have come to the ward party and played with us ;). We miss you guys.
ReplyDeletedoes this blog host your pictures? or do you host them somewhere else? I suggest starting a flickr account to host your pictures. it's free, and you wont have to worry about something like this happening. once they are on flickr you can use them anywhere else on the web (this blog included).
