day sixty - stand a little taller.
Day 60 - A picture of something you are excited about.
Iono. I'm excited about being married to the most awesome girl in the world. And the most beautiful. No offense. I was excited about McDonald's for dinner this evening after work too. I needed that greasy food to liven up my long day.
Katie and I ate in the park. The breeze was perfect but I was totally out of it. Still am. Can't wait to jump on that memory foam topper and..spoon. That's how Katie likes to sleep anyway. By five tomorrow morning, I'll be back on my stomach, mad that the alarm clock is al-ready going off. I feel bad because Katie wants to get out of the house and do things before school when I get off of work, but all I can think about is bed. So if you know of any part-time jobs that start later than six in the morning, please let me know. Katie likes walking to school too. I don't blame her, it's beautiful. But I'm lame and take the Boise State Shuttle.
Maybe because I'm exhausted. Maybe I'm just lazy. But Katie comes with me anyway 'cause she loves me. I always walk home. I like to watch the river. Especially when class is over and the sun is setting. Katie makes fun of me because I like to take the elevator at school. She tries to makes me take the stairs. When I can break free from Katie's gorilla grip, I race her up. I think she cheats by running up the stairs. She's always breathing hard at the top as she explains how much faster taking the stairs is. Can't trick me. I'll find the easy way. And I'll take it. Putting all jokes aside, I really do work hard. I couldn't imagine having children right now with my schedule. Don't get me wrong, I want one. A child that is. I just want to be able to support a family. A good dad. One that makes time to attend every school event. One that makes time to teach and to play. And I'm still working on that best husband award. I don't know what it takes to accomplish the feat. I still have a lot of work to do. But I do know one thing, everyday I stand a little taller.
Psh whatever Gabe the stairs are way faster you are just trying to justify your laziness. haha And I'm still working on the best Wife award, so we are both in the process. But hey we have like an eternity to get it, right?
