papa joe and the train depot.

I have weekends off now. So awesome. Actually, I don't really have weekends off yet. But I didn't have to work today. And because I have Sunday's off now, I don't have to work tomorrow. And after my shift on Monday, I'm quitting my home health care job. I work too much so I'm trimmin' off some hours. So last night, Katie and I treated ourselves to Papa Joe's. It's a couple streets down from our apartment so we walked. I have to say, Papa Joe and his wifey mike some really delightful food. I had a hot pastrami sandwich with fries. Mouth watering. Katie had shrimp tortellini with garlic cheese bread. Also mouth watering. I'm in love with garlic cheese bread so I traded Katie my pickle and potato wedges. We had a really good dinner. Special shoutout to Papa Joe and Mrs. Joe for rockin' the pasta and italian sandwiches.

After dinner, Katie and I walked to the Boise Depot which apparently is a train depot. I feel kind of stupid for not knowing that all of this time, but it could have been storage..or a bus station. I never payed much attention to it, but now I know it's a train depot. I'm glad Katie wanted to go, because I probably never would have went without her and it was a lot more than I expected. We took some pretty cool photographs. Well, we think they are cool. And that's all that matters. We really hope you think they're cool too though.

And after playing at the train depot, Katie and I walked back towards our apartment. On our way there, we found a really nice hill for sledding in the winter and at the bottom, a perfect field for capture the flag. So if any of you want to be our friends and play capture the flag, we would greatly appreciate it. If you don't like capture the flag, we could still use some more friends.

When we got back to our little home, Katie and I sat on the couch with Jimi and watched Dexter with oatmeal pies and sleepy time tea. And I slept in.
