A Day For George.

The other day, Friday I believe, Katie wanted to go see Gnomeo & Juliet. As for me, I don't watch lame movies. Another version of the same story told thousands of times. No thank you. Because I'm a little bit of awesome, I went anyway. No complaints. I actually really liked it and so did Katie. Maybe I'm just a bad movie critique but I thought it was cute and I laughed...a lot. I like the pink flamingo, as gay as that may sound. On Saturday, we just stayed home, put a pizza in the oven, and watched Dexter all day. And that's okay. I like pizza. I like Dexter. And staying home isn't so bad either. Yesterday was President's day, the only day it hasn't snowed this week. We took advantage of the weather and drove down to Burley, Idaho. We hung out with our friend, BreeAnn, and her husband, who is also our friend, Matt. And the rest of the Whitehead family. We went bowling. It looks so much easier on television. I've been bowling before but this time, I was really bad. After bowling, we ate frozen yogurt then drove back to the Whitehead's to have lunch. We ate lunch and then the girls talked or whatever girls do. And the rest of us played Black Ops until dinner time. We had cheesy bacon potato soup for dinner, which was brilliant by the way. And then we played Apples to Apples before our long drive back to Boise. Abraham Lincoln showed up in Apples to Apples, which reminded me why we had the day off in the first place. I know it's actually celebrated in honor of George Washington, but they were both good men.
