Day 50 - Can We Be Green and Fast?

Day 50 - A picture of your dream car.

I'll save our most frequented place for tomorrow..since we're gonna be there and all. Because I switched days fifty and fifty one, today is a picture of your dream car. For me, cars are kind of a big deal. And I have a few favorites but I'll try to stick with one dream car. Katie likes Volvo's, but if she was able to have a dream car, she would want a car that doesn't run on oil and petrol. The war we're fighting right now is pretty much over oil. So Katie's dream car would have to run on something else, an alternative that's safe for the environment..like water. Aautomobile that derives its energy directly from water, which technically isn't possible. Releasing chemical energy from water would violate the first and second laws of thermodynamics, but it is a "dream" car. Really, any alternative fuel would do. Let me rephrase that. Any safe alternative fuel would do. You've got to hand it to her, it's..pretty. Isn't it?

My dream car is the..Aston Martin. Because they cost as much as a house, it's not very likely that I'll ever own one. I guess you could say it's the official car of James Bond. But the guy drives a lot of cars. I like the DBS and the Vantage. James Bond drove the new DBS in Casino Royale. The Vantage is cheaper and more my style..so I'm gonna' go with the Aston Martin Vantage as my dream car. The Aston Martin DBS ranges anywhere between $260,000 and $285,000. The Vantage can range from $120,000 to $185,000. And no, they're not energy efficient. 11/17 miles per gallon. I guess they're just..beautiful and fast. Really, really fast. It's probably better if I'm never able to afford one. Katie has a better plan..and that's why I married her. She keeps me focused on the things that are really important. And she took fast cars off my list a long time ago.
