Day 02 - Kind of a Big Deal.

Day 02 - A picture of you and the person you have been closest to for the longest.

Yeah, that's not me..but isn't Katie so cute? Because this is the blog of Katie and Gabe, I'm using two pictures and two people that are kind of a big deal to us. Katie has been closest to her dad for the longest. When she was just a little Katie, they did everything together..and they still do. It's a little harder now that we're in Boise for school, but he visits often and we're planning on moving back to San Diego when we graduate. Katie loves her dad..and the rest of her family very very much! Katie and her dad even shared cereal together! Katie's idea of sharing is kind of forcing her dad's hand and spoon full of cereal into her mouth, but how could he resist? 



I have been closest to my mama for the longest. To find me when I was a little Gabe, you had to find my mom first. Maybe that's why I turned out so girly. I mean..I'm not really that girly, but maybe laying on the floor watching soap opera's all day with my mom had something to do with it. It's okay though, I think I spent enough time riding quads and wandering through the forest to still be manly enough for society. I hate soap opera's now..but I like chick flick's. Since I am married to a gorgeous woman that likes action-adventure movies more than I do, I think that's balanced out too. In conclusion, I was a mama's boy and Katie was a daddy's girl. That might explain why we're so different. Opposites really do attract and our differences work to complement each other! Katie is pretty hyper and she gets excited about everything, which I love. I'm a lot more laid back and sometimes I just like to..chill. Some people might call it laziness. I keep Katie calm and she keeps me productive! I love her more than anything! I just haven't known her for very long yet!!
