Today was a little rough, but Katie and I discovered the most amazing thing. Flatbread. Not just any flatbread but red pepper, cilantro, jalepeno and goat cheese flatbread. I know goat cheese sounds disgusting, but it's super delightful. It's like taking a bite of something that's only possible in a dream. I would say heaven but too many people say that without really knowing what it tastes like. The texture is great, the creaminess of the goat cheese followed by a light crunch of the flatbread. Our day started with class and institute, but then I called Boise State Financial Aid and found out we've reached our loan limit so attending school for summer semester is close to impossible. I might just sit the summer out and work while Katie goes to school. Katie's dad said he would make up the rest of the cost in Katie's tuition which is awesome. To add to the rough morning, my vision is a little impaired but it's only temporary. I took off my glasses and sat them down. Without my glasses, I wasn't able to see the curling iron I sat them down on. I didn't think anything of it until Katie quickly told me to remove my glasses from the curling iron. She had just turned it off so it was still hot. I didn't think it was possible to melt the perscription off of glasses, but it happened to me and it sucks. Price for new lenses: $170.00. Only after finding out we're struggling financially to pay for school would something like this happen to me. Luckily or blessidly I should say, I have a smart, beautiful, and funny wifey to cheer me up. We went to this fresh, wood stove, pizza joint called...Flatbread. And that's where we had the most tasteful meatballs, pizza, and flatbread ever while we guessed the names of the songs performed by the live jazz people. Well, that is my story for the day. Modern Family is on and that means it is time for me to go. Out.
