Day 13 - A picture of your favorite band.

Picking a favorite band is easy. Not. As I searched through my ipod, I saw so many bands that I liked that weren't quite my favorite. But then the bands at the top of my list were so different from one another that it was hard to choose between them. Brand New, Anberlin, Smashing Pumpkins, The Fray, Jack's Mannequin, Flogging Molly, Mae, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin Park, Blink-182 while they lasted, and the old Weezer and Taking Back Sunday were just a few. Of course, I like some older bands as well, like The Who, Jimi Hendrix, and Led Zeppelin, I'm just trying to keep it more modern. But when it comes to my favorite band, I think I'm going to have to say Death Cab For Cutie is it..and The Cool Kids, if you consider them a band.







We have a tie between Katie's two favorite bands. Mayday Parade and A Day To Remember. I'm just glad that I love both of these bands as well because Katie listens to her music loud. Really loud. Because I try to create a beautiful sounding theater experience for my Netflix queue, I can't say anything. Unless I want her to shatter my "inside the movie" experience. I tried to make her choose between the two but it just wasn't happening. Why can't someone have two favorites, right? If I would have heard someone say they had two favorites when I was little, little Gabe would've let them have it, "You can't have two favorites! Only one can be your favorite!" And I was determined to make them choose. But I'm all grown up now and I love Katie more than anything so I always make an exception. But only for her! Katie's favorite song by Mayday Parade has the longest title..ever. And it is, "If You Wanted A Song Written About You, All You Had To Do Was Ask." All of there song title's are really long, it's almost as if they want you to forget the song title. Her other favorite song by her other favorite band is "If It Means A Lot To You." And that's a wrap.
