Day 28 - Fear Factor.

Day 28 - A picture of something you're afraid of.

I fear..fear itself. And the Harry Potter inspired dinner we're having tonight. Yep, we're making butter beer..and Yorkshire pudding. Thought up by Katie, of course. But what I fear most of all are spiders. And clowns. And dolls. Spiders are such tiny little things. I don't know why they're so scary to me. Maybe its their eight eyes or their eight legs. Or maybe its their poisonous fangs. Maybe its everything about them..all put into a tiny little package so they can sneak up on you without you knowing. Yeah, I take it back. I do know why they're so scary to me. Not even James P. Sullivan could get more scares than a spider. Scarer of the month goes to.. ....

Katie is afraid of wells. I'm sure this developed one of the times she was walking around in England with her family. Katie said she was told stories of people falling down the wells often. And there's a myth that the royal family threw  bad people down the wells to meet the monster at the bottom for their punishment. Scary, I know. Those wells are like giant holes in the ground in England. They don't stick out from the ground at all. I noticed that the English puts fences around them now. Apparently, the wells were just left open when Katie was walking around them. I don't know what part of England she was cruising around in, but I would be scared too. It's like walking around in a jungle full of traps, except traps are easier to get out of.

And of course, heights. Katie and I are both afraid of heights, which is a common fear, I think. Unless you're Acrophobic, but we're not..I don't think.

  1. just a quick bit of information. although many spiders are venomous, only 2 spiders in the United States are deadly. The brown recluse and the black widow. both like warm, dark, damp places. I agree that spiders are creepy, but this helps take their edge off slightly.
