Day 32 - A picture of a crazy night.
Well, this is embarrassing. We've had a couple crazy nights, but I didn't document them. Maybe because I didn't want proof that they actually happened. It's kind of sad that I have to say this for the second time on my blog, but here it is. "Vandalism is illegal and it is wrong. Do not reenact any stunts that you may read here." So some of the things I can remember are: Nintendo gun drive bys, which is not cool by the way. It scared our victim friends beyond scared. Bottle rocket wars in caves. A night that involved a bucket of gasoline and roman candles. Setting off the big sky fireworks..on the ground. Dressing up as monsters and jumping out of the trees at night to scare adults. Not the kids. There was also a skateboard, a pair of roller blades, and a rope involved. I don't know. I would have to ask Curtis. Trying to drive the construction equipment at building sites along with a small amount of vandalism. Who am I kidding? There was a lot of vandalism and the police did show up. Again. Illegal. Wrong. You will get caught. But we didn't. We got out of it. "These houses are beautiful, officer. We can't believe how big the bathrooms are." And those Halloween boat dances that go until two in the morning get pretty crazy. Especially the one where Courtney and I dressed up as the Jabbawockeez dance crew and took the bottom deck to the streets. And the last crazy night that comes to mind was last October for Halloween, when we went celebrity trick or treating in Beverly Hills. "Leonard Nimoy, I may be an old lady, but I'm not dead yet. Give me some candy." Followed by Harrison Ford's crib where he actually answered..and he wasn't happy.
Katie was with us that night, but she didn't participate. She didn't like our idea. And that brings us to Katie's crazy night.
I chose this picture for a crazy night, because Alyssa, Brooke, Lindsey, Sheala and I were really craving Sonic one night. So at 12:00 am, we decided to drive two hours to the Sonic in Los Angeles (before there was a Sonic in San Diego). When we got there, we discovered that this Sonic just so happened to be in Compton. The city where ghetto got its name. If you don't know about Compton..everyone knows about Compton. Anyways, we didn't drive two hours for nothing so we went to Sonic and ordered our food. But we refused to get out of the car, because if you think Compton isn't scary enough during the day, then at 2 am its one of your worst nightmares. To make a long story short, we ate our food really quickly and made it home safely. But before we left, we thought we should document this near death experience in our lives. So we jumped out of the car (at lighting speed) and took a picture of ourselves in front of the Sonic sign. Fun, but scary. And definitely crazy.
And there are others. Like the time Katie and I drove to Utah with Shalis and we stopped in Las Vegas. A very long stop in Vegas. But all of my Vegas pictures are on my old phone..that I don't have anymore.
Or the night we went camping in the caves and lost one of our cave camping crew members. Shout out to the guy who invented the buddy system..he's also a genius.
Or the night we all dressed up as pirates for James' murder mystery birthday party. There were a lot of us..in a very small apartment. And everyone spoke in a pirate voice.
Or the time Katie beat me at Astro Blasters. Crazy.
Or the night Katie and I were walking in Downtown San Diego and saw a billboard of ourselves. Nah, that didn't really happen.
Or the night I proposed to Katie. Crazy. But a good kind of crazy.
