Day 34 - Jammin'.

Day 34 - A picture of your currently most played CD?

CD? Really? The nineties called and they want their question back. Don't get me wrong, the compact disc was great while it lasted but there are quite a few things I don't miss about them. I don't miss the stacks of CD's in the car door that fell out everytime the door was opened..or the stacks of CD's in the arm rest, that left room for nothing else. I don't miss the scratches that would magically appear on every CD, causing the CD to skip all the way through my favorite song..which was usually the song I bought the entire CD for anyway. I don't miss friends borrowing CD's to "burn" them and never seeing them again. And I don't miss paying ten to fifteen dollars for eight out of the eleven songs that I would never listen to. I guess I will just replace “CD” with “album” and that will be that. My currently most played album is Lasers by Lupe Fiasco. It's Mr. Fiasco's third album and it was just released last month. "Till I Get There" is one of my favorite songs, in case you want a little preview of the album. But all of the songs on Lupe's new album are what I like to call..fresh.

Yeah I got flaws, I know I'm not perfect, but all the ups and downs will soon be worth it, when I get there.

Honestly, Katie mostly just listens to her ipod on shuffle..which is cool with me. She has some good music on that little thing. She really doesn't have one specific album that she plays over and over. But I suppose these following albums come up quite a bit and I rarely find Katie skipping these songs which is kind of a big deal, as she skips a lot of songs. The Inevitability Of a Strange World by Halifax and Glee: The Music, Volume Five.

I like listening to Pandora with Katie, especially on long trips, because she's limited in her skipping. And I can pretend like I'm mad at Pandora for only letting her skip six songs per hour but Pandora doesn't back down. Ever. Horrible, isn't it? Honestly, I hate that Pandora only lets me skip six songs, but it's nice when Katie's behind the ipod. And she's behind the ipod a lot because she likes for me to drive. She constantly skips channels with the TV at home too. Back and forth, in between commercials. Then you get hooked on another show and right when it gets to the good part..goodbye. But she's like that cute little baby from Dinosaurs, "I'm the Wifey, Gotta Love Me!"

And I do.

A lot.
